Back in Tanzania

After Zanzibar in 2023, DjangoCon Africa returned to Tanzania, this time in Arusha.

Joint Stage with UbuCon

DjangoCon Africa and UbuCon Africa shared a stage, bringing the Django and Ubuntu communities together.

Workshops & Sprints

Hands-on workshops led by Django and Python practitioners, plus code sprints for open source contribution.

Django Girls Arusha

A Django Girls workshop on 9 August introduced new developers to Django before the conference.

Programme

Three days of single-track talks on programming, technology, society, careers, business and education, including keynotes from Sarah Abderemane, Lidya Tilahun and Tim Schilling, a talk on the future of Django from DSF President Thibaud Colas, and panels on the main stage. Workshops and sprints followed in the lecture halls.
